Physical Therapy
Licensed therapists coordinate and administer non-surgical treatment procedures with doctors, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists to help patients regain basic mobility skills such as getting in and out of bed, walking safely with crutches or a walker, and restoring range of motion to specific joints. Treatment programs are primarily comprised of physical exercise programs designed to stretch and strengthen muscles and alleviate pain.
